I work at a lower secondary school in Stavanger, and somehow, I suddenly find myself well into my 40s.
My great passion is knitting, and I design knitting patterns for both children and adults.

I'm a mother of five boys and married to my Andreas. We live in Stavanger and enjoy heading to the mountains on the weekends. I knit every single day — of course! I “discovered” this wonderful hobby at the age of 40. Before that, I knitted on and off, but not like I do now!

My big dream is to spend my days being creative — designing garments, knitting, and enjoying the pure joy of creating with yarn all day long.

The designer adventure began back in 2019 when I was working as an arts and crafts teacher. I gave my students a new assignment: "design a headpiece." Naturally, it was to be knitted, and I asked them to write a pattern in one size. I thought I should test the task myself — and that’s how my journey into knit design began.

My patterns include a variety of skill levels and techniques. I love creating designs that are accessible to everyone — like the Line series, which is perfect for beginners. The Vill i series and Glitter series are great for more experienced knitters. I’m a big fan of ruffles and cute details — but I also appreciate timeless, classic styles.

Most of my patterns come with links to helpful video tutorials in case you get stuck. I always aim to write clear, well-explained, and pedagogical instructions.

I design based on what I feel is missing in our wardrobe. Even though I don’t have any girls in my little flock, there are still a few patterns for girls too — thanks to gentle pressure from lovely test knitters 😉
