The cardigan is worked top-down in stockinette stitch. The button band is worked in double stockinette stitch, and is the start to the cardigan. Next you pick up stitches all along the button band, which are divided to front- and back pieces, as well as shoulder stitches. You are going to increase on both right side and wrong side, a total of 4 increases each row, on each side of the 9 shoulder stitches. You are also going to increase to get puff sleeves, and at the same time increase a classic raglan. You finish the body by making a folded hem. From start to finish you work a double folded button band, and the sleeves have a icord ending.
