The pattern

The Honey Slipover is worked seamless from top-down. You start with working the back piece, and then picking up stitches for the shoulders. When both of the shoulders are finished, you cast on stitches for the front piece. The front and back piece are joined under the armhole, and rest of the slipover are worked in rounds with a textured pattern. The rest of the slipover is worked with a diagram, except for the ribbing at the end. The rib is worked *k1 in the back loop only, p1*. The Honey slipover is worked in double thread Tilia together with a single thread Saga. This yarn combination gives a fluffy and warm slipover.

Feel free to make a gauge swatch to make sure the slipover will fit nicely. Please notice that the gauge is measured in textured pattern after rinsed. I recommend trying the slipover on while knitting it.

This pattern is long, and some people like to read through everything before starting. Please do, but my biggest recommendation is to read this pattern paragraph for paragraph, sentence for sentence, and suddenly! You’re done with your slipover :)

Sizing

Honey Slipover is designed to have a positive ease of approx.10 - 20 cm.

It is somewhat oversized, but feel free to choose a size smaller than you usually do if you are in doubt or want a more snug fit.
