The Pattern

Honey Dress is an elegant and timeless dress that combines beautiful textures and simple lines. The dress is knitted in Tynn Line, a light and airy yarn that provides a comfortable fit, perfect for both spring and summer wear.

The dress is knitted from top to bottom, with a delightful Honey structure on the bodice that creates an airy and beautiful pattern. The skirt and sleeves are knitted in stockinette stitch to balance the texture and give an elegant, clean look. This design provides a flattering silhouette and a sophisticated appearance, while also being comfortable and easy to move in.

The dress is knitted from top to bottom. It is knitted flat until the front neckline is completed. Then it is knitted in the round. Increases are made on both the right and wrong side, totaling 4 increases per round, i.e., on each side of the shoulder stitches. Increases are made above the sleeve stitches to create puff sleeves. Then raglan increases are made on the sleeves and the front and back pieces. The sleeves and neckline are finished with an i-cord edge.

I recommend trying the dress on during the knitting process. Also, notice how your swatch has changed after soaking/blocking, and take this into account when knitting. This way, you can knit the perfect garment for your body.

This pattern is long, and some people like to read through everything before starting. Please do, but my biggest recommendation is to read this pattern paragraph for paragraph, sentence for sentence, and suddenly! You’re done with your dress.

Sizeguide

Bust measurements of approximately (80) 85 (90) 95 (100) 110 (120) cm correspond to sizes (XXS) XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL). The dress has a positive ease of about 5 - 15 cm. This means that if your bust measurement is around 90 cm, you should knit a size S. Measure yourself before you start knitting.

It's recommended to knit a swatch before you start, to check that the gauge is correct. Note that the gauge is given after the dress has been soaked.
