THE PATTERN
The headscarf is knitted in a beautiful lace pattern. First, knit the actual headscarf using Tynn Line yarn or a similar yarn. The entire headscarf is worked according to a diagram. To achieve a nice fit, decrease stitches are worked. Once the headscarf is finished, stitches are picked up along both sides of the headscarf, and a cute ruffle is knitted. Then, fine details are added to the front using cords and an i-cord edge. You can choose whether to have the ruffle in the front as a shadow or an extra sweet detail around the face. This pattern also includes suggestions for knitting it as a bib.
Feel free to knit a swatch before you start to check that your gauge matches. Other suitable yarns include Tynn Merinoull, Alpakka Silke, and Tynn Line from Sandnes Garn, or any other yarn that gives a gauge of 27 stitches per 10 centimeters.
