Waist circumference: 63 (69) 76 (81) 88 cm
Hip circumference: 86 (92) 100 (108) 112  cm
Length: 44 (46) 48 (50) 52 cm - or desired length
Gauge: 22 sts stockinette stitch = 10 cm
Needles: 4 mm (circular needles 80 cm and 2 double pointed needles)
Other materials: 1 button, elastics with buttonholes / work an i-cord
Yarn:  Line-Sandnes Garn (50 g =110 m), or other yarn matching with the gauge.
Skeins: 250 (300) 350 (400) 450 grams

Butterfly skirt
The skirt are worked in stockinette stitch top-down, in rounds. At the waist you work a folded hem, which is worked together with the skirt.
There are increases evenly distributed in the skirt to achieve width. When the desired length is achieved, bind off the skirt before picking up stitches again to make the cute ruffle.
Make a swatch to make sure to have the right gauge. Notice that the gauge is given after the skirt is rinsed.

Size guide
The skirt will adapt to your body, and likely stretch approx 6 cm in width. But this will not ruin the expression. The sizes correspond to ordinary European sizes.
