Wild outdoor vest mini
The vest is knitted from the top down in double ribbing as one piece. The neckline is worked double and knitted down. It is knitted higher at the back using the German Short Rows technique. At the same time, paired increases are made a total of 4 times per row. It is worked back and forth until the armhole opening is achieved. Then, the front and back pieces are joined, and knitting continues in the round.
Once the desired length of the body is reached, it is bound off using the double Italian bind-off method. Stitches are picked up around the armhole openings and bound off with an I-cord edge. Finally, facings for the zipper are knitted from resting stitches, ensuring that the zipper looks neat from the wrong side. The zipper is then hand-sewn in place.
Feel free to knit a swatch before you start to check that your gauge matches. Note that the gauge is specified in ribbing after blocking.
Yarns that can be substituted for Pernilla: Alpakka Silke, Tynn Merinoull, and Tynn Peer Gynt from Sandnes Garn, or any other yarn that gives a gauge of 27 stitches per 10 centimeters.

The given measurements are when the ribbing is not stretched. The vest will adapt to the body and may stretch during use. The sizes correspond to standard European sizes.
